Giovanni Bernardo
Giovanni Bernardo is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Naples - Federico II (Italy). He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pisa (Italy). His work focuses on applied and environmental economics, particularly on energy transition, the economics of organized crime, and inequality. The main theme of his current research is to analyze the socio-economic implications of the energy transition in terms of renewable energy investments, CO2 emissions, unemployment, and economic growth at both macro and local levels. He often explores this area by implementing large-scale system dynamics models to produce long-run scenario analyses under uncertainty. Previously, he worked as a post-doc and assistant professor of economics at the University of Palermo (Italy) and as a research economist at the New Economics Foundation (London).

Massimo Ruberti
Massimo Ruberti is an Assistant Professor of Business Economics at the University of Milan - Bicocca (Italy). He received his Ph.D. in Business Economics and Management from the University of Pisa (Italy). His main competencies are accounting, financial analysis, and management. Previously, he worked as a researcher at the Cattolica University of Milan (Italy) and the University of Pisa (Italy). His primary research areas are sports finance and pharmaceutical companies' sustainability. He is open to any concrete sustainable project that can lead humanity to a fairer development. In his vision, diversity, empathy, and inclusivity are the seeds for a more integrated, educated, and equitable humanity.
